Built systems letting planners in semiconductor, retail, and solar manufacturing adjust optimization models in plain English, with an LLM agent driving IBM CPLEX and CP Optimizer.
Extended a factory production line scheduler to keep crews together across shifts, split long jobs, and defer low-priority work when capacity runs short, flagging staffing shortfalls instead of failing.
Shipped runtime model editing for a semiconductor fab allocation and scheduling platform, letting users add constraints and re-aim objectives in conversation.
Prototyped a retail safety stock model that right-sizes inventory using forecast-conditioned supplier lead times, with analytics ranking where the next inventory dollar buys the most service.

Built a data pipeline for Modbus and monitoring devices at battery swap stations (India, Africa), ingesting via NNG sockets and streaming over UDP/TCP with zlib compression into Parquet files on AWS S3.
Designed an ingestion system for CAN logs over UDP into MF4 files, supporting reliability and predictive maintenance analysis.
Built an interactive analytics layer (DuckDB + Voila) to detect outages and forecast station-level performance, providing inputs for operations research models in fleet reliability, capacity planning, and energy optimization.
Produced Windows firmware-flashing binaries and debugged GitHub Actions builds, resolving false malware detections.

Live transit planner for the Stony Brook campus. Tracks buses in real time, plans door-to-door trips between any of 177 buildings, and routes walking legs along the actual campus footpath network.

A linear backbone with a Gaussian Process fit to its residuals, beating the Severson et al. (Nature Energy, 2019) Elastic Net with 17% smaller errors on average on out-of-distribution batches

Offshore Wind Farm Portfolio Optimization

Markowitz mean-variance portfolio theory applied to offshore wind siting, treating geographic sub-clusters as assets. 15 GB of ERA5 reanalysis and GEBCO bathymetry across the U.S. coastline surfaced the Pacific as the only region with anti-correlated sub-clusters: a 70.6% variance reduction, validated against all 8 active BOEM Wind Energy Areas.
